When the latest number turns out to be an Olympic gymnast turned art thief (Elaine Tan) with an obsessed Interpol agent (Henri Lubatti) on her trail, Shaw (Sarah Shahi) prevents the robbery of the Gutenberg Bible. After doing so, however, she learns the situation is far more complicated than it initially appeared. Discovering that Kelli Lin is being blackmailed into a series of robberies by a nefarious character (Gene Farber) keeping the gymnast’s child hostage, Finch (Michael Emerson), Shaw, Fusco (Kevin Chapman), and Reese (Jim Caviezel) all decide to help her pull her next job.

Batman ’66 #7

Batman '66 #7One of my favorite criminals from the 60’s Batman TV-show was False Face (played by an uncredited Malachi Throne). Only making a single appearance on the show in the two-parter “True or False Face” and “Holy Rat Race” the constantly-masked villain capable of perfectly impersonating anyone gets his own comic adventure here as the villain impersonates millionaire Bruce Wayne and attempts to destroy Mount Rushmore!

The adventure is fun, if over-the-top, and forces Batman to abandon showing up as Bruce Wayne until Batman and Robin can clear his name. If I have a major complaint its the unnecessary ambiguous clues False Face leaves for the Dynamic Duo making him come off a bit like a second-rate Riddler.

The back-up story is a bit odd as the Joker decides to take Wall Street’s advice and downsize to increase profits only to not have enough henchmen to properly execute a heist or defend himself against Batman and Robin. Worth a look.

White Collar - No Good Deed

White Collar‘s mid-season finale brings one of the missing gold coins from the season’s first episode to Peter‘s (Tim DeKay) attention. That, and the name of the fence (Micah A. Hauptman) who is moving them, will lead to Peter’s discovery of a large piece (but certainly not all) of the circumstances behind Neal‘s (Matt Bomer) involvement in the $1.8 million heist and how that money paid for Peter’s freedom by bribing a Federal prosecutor. Curiously, Neal keeps The Dutchman‘s (Mark Sheppard) name out of his confession leaving one more shoe yet to drop.

While investigating a murdered limo driver whose last act was to bequeath a three-month-old baby to priest, Beckett (Stana Katic) and Castle (Nathan Fillion) take in the infant. Not finding any connection between the murder victim and the baby Beckett talks with the man’s girlfriend (Christie Burson) while hunt down a recently released convict (Matt Gerald) who was seen threatening the victim days before his death. Although the ex-con isn’t their killer, finding him clues the team into the fact while not driving limousines, their victims was a getaway driver actively planning an escape route for the latest score.

White Collar - One Last Stakeout

Even after completing his deal with The Dutchman (Mark Sheppard), Neal (Matt Bomer) still finds himself under the former forger’s thumb when he blackmails Neal into stealing a single chapter of a rare manuscript from a local museum under the nose of both Peter (Tim DeKay) and Neal’s new handler Special Agent David Seigel (Warren Kole). With no choice but to go through with the crime, Neal lifts the key card of a museum worker (Bridget Regan) and enlists the help of Mozzie (Willie Garson) to use another thief’s robbery of a more valuable piece to cover their crime (and create an excuse for Neal to be at the museum).
