The Lying Game - To Lie For

In the finale of the show’s shortened Second Season, the discovery of Theresa’s (Yara Martinez) body in the Mercer’s pool sends Dan (Tyler Christopher) even further over the edge which forces Alec (Adrian Pasdar) to reveal part of the twins’ secret. Realizing his little brother has been lying to him for months, Dan gives Ethan (Blair Redford) an ultimatum to choose either his family or the twins.In the wake of the murder Thayer (Christian Alexander) confronts Emma (Alexandra Chando) about her unresolved feelings for Ethan and offers her an ultimatum of his own, but given Ethan’s decision, and his brother’srecent tragedy, Emma’s choice of Ethan over Thayer comes far too late.

The Lying Game - The Grave Truth

Picking up right where the last episode left off, Ted (Andy Buckley) has a heart-to-heart with Emma (Alexandra Chando), who he believes is Sutton, at Derek’s grave admitting that he and Rebecca (Charisma Carpenter) are her birth parents. He also admits to meeting and talking with Theresa (Yara Martinez) the night she disappeared but swears he wasn’t involved in her disappearance. Ted turns himself in the next morning to an irate Dan (Tyler Christopher) who is stopped from ripping Ted’s head off only by the timely arrival of Alec (Adrian Pasdar) who shifts Dan’s suspicions to Rebecca while still skirting the issue of the twins’ secret.

The Lying Game - Bride and Go Seek

Everyone gathers for Theresa (Yara Martinez) and Dan’s (Tyler Christopher) wedding, everyone except for the missing bride-to-be who no one has seen since she left her engagement party early for her late night stakeout. Dan and Ethan (Blair Redford) begin searching for Theresa, but all they find is an empty apartment, her wedding ring, and other signs which point to her leaving town. Tensions continue to rise between both Ted (Andy Buckley) and Kristin (Helen Slater) and Alec (Adrian Pasdar) and Rebecca (Charisma Carpenter) as each man continues to spend time with each other’s wife.

The Lying Game - Regrets Only

After spending the night with Thayer (Christian Alexander) Emma (Alexandra Chando) is forced to deal with Ethan’s (Blair Redford) hurt feelings and is still reeling from the realization that Ted (Andy Buckley) is her birth father and the most likely suspect in Derek’s murder. Sutton (Chando) continues to play dumb about not knowing Rebecca (Charisma Carpenter) is the twin’s birth mother, although she begins to second guess all of Rebecca’s maneuverings. and Emma’s distrust of her sister keeps her from spilling the beans about her suspicions about Ted.

The Lying Game - Catch Her in the Lie

After coming clean with Laurel (Allie Gonino) about the twins’ secret, Emma (Alexandra Chando) enlists the help of both Laurel and Ethan (Blair Redford) to catch Rebecca (Charisma Carpenter) and Sutton in their web of deception but neither is too keen on betraying Sutton even if it does mean an end to the lies. Ethan also finds his renewed relationship with Sutton on shaky ground once he learns Emma and Thayer (Christian Alexander) have returned from Los Angeles and he has to deal with the feelings for the twin he isn’t dating.
