Throwback Tuesday takes us back to another episode featuring a man who can be anyone he wants to be. The Third Season of The Pretender opens with Jarod (Michael T. Weiss) in a mental institution raving about those out to get him while The Centre puts the pieces back together after the explosion that destroyed SL-27 and left Sydney (Patrick Bauchau) temporarily without sight. While Miss Parker (Andrea Parker) is still in control of the search for Jarod, she’s given unexpected, and unwanted, assiatance by the the return of Mr. Lyle (Jamie Denton). Lyle’s return will earn Syndey a reprieve from Centre justice and answer a linger question about Miss Parker’s family tree.

Monroe to investigate the recent tragic accident that cost one man his life and leaves another (Kevin Patrick Walls) haunted by the presumed guilt of being responsible, he leaves breadcrumbs for Miss Parker (Andrea Parker) leading her to a Delaware children’s home connected to her mother’s file of rescued children. As she takes baby steps to begin questioning what really happened to her mother, and why, Parker is warned by Sydney (Patrick Bauchau) that searching for answers The Centre wants kept buried could lead to a similar fate.

Weiss) becomes a motorcycle cop in Miami to investigate the murder of a jewelry store guard shot during a robbery who was only just reunited with the father (Ellis Williams) he never knew. Although the officers (Charles Rocket, Jason Schombing) involved stated the man was robbing the store, Jarod immeadiately suspects there is far more to the story than they are letting on.

Weiss) becomes a prison guard on death row at Oakfield Penitentiary in order to poke around the case of a car thief (David Proval) convicted of first-degree murder on the eve of his release from prison. Jarod is spurred on by the man’s daughter (Rebecca Cross) who spent youth becoming a lawyer and despite the recent setback still believes in his innocence.

Jarod (Michael T. Weiss) becomes a firefighter in order to investigate a series of warehouse fires, the latest of which killed a local firefighter. While befriending the victim’s father (Patrick Cronin) and fighting with another member (Isabel Glasser) of the “Fighting 16th” who blames herself for the death of the only other female firefighter on the squad (and Jarod for replacing her) the Pretender uncovers an insurance scam which is not only responsible for the increased number of arsons but also the murder of the firefighter who stumbled onto the situation in the line of duty only to be killed by another firefighter (Michael O’Neill) to hide the truth.
