Killjoys - Johnny Be Good

Things get bloody for the Killjoys as Dutch‘s (Hannah John-Kamen) plan to rescue Johnny (Aaron Ashmore) and Pawter (Sarah Power), bring down the wall, and kill Jelco (Pascal Langdale) runs into a few snags including putting her at the mercy of the leaders of an angry mob in the aftermath of a night’s activities that left more than one-hundred dead and questions that need to be answered. Needing to give D’Avin (Luke Macfarlane) time to implement the Killjoys makeshift Plan-B, Dutch holds out telling her captors where Jelco has been taken.

Presented in flashbacks between scenes of Dutch’s interrogation, events are slowly filled in as the episode marks a turning point in revealing the connection between the wall, the yellow goo, and the Company’s true plans for the survivors of the culling of Old Town. The episode’s best moment comes in a late conversation between Johnny and Dutch before the surprising final moments of the episode. The fate of Pawter offers up Delle Seyah Kendry (Mayko Nguyen) as the season’s new villain while the sudden appearance of Fancy (Sean Baek) suggests an unlikely new ally in the Killjoys battle.
