Nashville - It Must Be You

Love and Polo dominate the latest episode of Nashville as several unlikely characters make their way to a charity Polo match including Rayna (Connie Britton) and Tandy (Judith Hoag) who hope to use the event to drum up a partner to help buy out her contract, the ever-campaigning Teddy (Eric Close), Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) who is surprised to learn where her invitation came from, and Deacon (Charles Esten) who is dragged to the event by his new girlfriend Megan (Christina Chang).

Nashville - Don't Open That Door

Fighting to get her voice back after the accident Rayna (Connie Britton) also fights for control of her latest album, which given her condition the studio believes may be her last. With Rayna dropping out of the tour that leaves Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) to headline on her own along with the label’s new starlet Layla (Aubrey Peeples) as her opening act. It also opens up an opportunity for Will (Chris Carmack) to earn a spot on the tour as well. The night at the Grand Old Opry forces Rayna to test the limits of her voice in public, leading to a performance that brings the house down, and the night also provides highs and lows for Juliette who is admitted in a select fraternity only to later learn she still doesn’t have the respect of her fellow artists.

Nashville - Never No More

After four weeks in the hospital Rayna (Connie Britton) finally returns home, moving back in with Teddy (Eric Close) and the girls (Lennon StellaMaisy Stella), as Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) continues to promote her new album while growing more and more frustrated when questions continually come back to her rival’s health. Both also have to deal with the new head of label (Oliver Hudson) who isn’t impressed with Juliette’s new mature sound (or her latest album sales) and signs a new artist (Aubrey Peeples) to capture the teen bubblegum market Juliette desires to leave behind. He also sets out to woo Will (Chris Carmack) away from Rayna’s new label and sign a new solo contract with the company.

Nashville - I Fall to Pieces

In the aftermath of the car crash Rayna (Connie Britton) languishes in a coma, Deacon (Charles Esten) is in jail facing drunken driving charges, and Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) worries the timing may tank her new album’s release. Peggy (Kimberly Williams-Paisley) lies to Teddy (Eric Close) about loosing the baby to try and keep him, Scarlett (Clare Bowen) and Gunnar (Sam Palladio) each deal with their recent break-up in different ways as she throws herself into trying to get her uncle released on bail (despite his complete disinterest at leaving prison) and Gunnar lets himself get roped into a party thrown by his still closeted roommate (Chris Carmack) that gets a little out of hand.

The show’s soapy First Season comes to a close with Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) reeling from the shooting of Dante (Jay Hernandez) and Jolene’s (Sylvia Jefferies) suicide, Gunnar (Sam Palladio) faced with the decision of choosing a career based on a the songs of his brother or fixing his broken relationship with Scarlett (Clare Bowen) who has been spending more and more time with Avery (Jonathan Jackson) both on-stage and off, the U.S. Attorney closing in on Teddy (Eric Close), Maddie (Lennon Stella) and Deacon (Charles Esten) learning the truth that Rayna (Connie Britton) has kept from both of them for 13 years, and the arrival of the CMA Awards.
