Tim (Khan Chittenden) lives with his brother Mark (Richard Wilson) and his overbearing commediane mother (Brenda Blethyn). When Tim falls in love with Jill (Emma Booth) his mother declares war and fights to keep her family together against this outsider who she sees as attempting to break-up her family.
