Our pals over at Scene Stealers are picking their top ten villains of all-time. Eric’s list includes the best on-screen Superman villain, an 80’s obsessed serial killer and a vampire. I have to cry foul however with the noticeable absence of one of my favorite movie villains of all-time – Ming the Merciless from 1980’s Flash Gordon. We can debate the film itself (I still argue the film overcomes its many short-comings) but Max von Sydow is everything you want in a charismatic kick ass bad guy and to this day still ranks as a fav of mine (General Klytus isn’t too shabby either by the way).
