Flashback Friday takes us back to a mystery involving the Three Investigators whose mantra of “We Investigate Everything” lead them to go in search of the missing tell-all manuscript and stolen films of a reclusive retired actress. The story begins in fire and will take a few twists and turns including Jupiter, Pete, and Bob uncovering the actress’ secret coven and her mistaken belief that her powers have been used to harm those close to her in the past allowing others to take advantage of her guilt.
While the Magic Circle may not be as creepy as the cover suggests, it is the starting point from which Jupiter, Pete, and Bob solve the case. On the search for the missing films, Pete will get knocked uncurious and stuck in the trunk of a car at a wrecking yard, our trio will uncover a conspiracy behind the actress’ reclusiveness, learn about long standing grudges and motives, uncover the truth about the copy of the memoir sold to a publisher without her knowledge or consent, set a trap for the thief to recover the films, and see the power of Madeline Bainbridge in action.
