As Mike (Aaron Tveit) and the team try to nail Bello and the mysterious Odin, Briggs (Daniel Sunjata) continues to secretly work against Graceland in his role as Odin and supply Bello (Gbenga Akinnagbe) with $2.4 million worth of heroin that he has been skimming from busts for months. Things are complicated even further when members of the Caza Cartel, unhappy with Bello’s new partnership with Odin send armed men to take out Bello and when that fails threaten to send their legendary boogeyman: Jangles the Key Man.

The constant gray area of Mike‘s (Aaron Tveit) life continues to get more complicated as he learns Briggs‘ (Daniel Sunjata) secret isn’t that he’s stealing heroin from current shipments but that he is a former addict who was forced on the drug years ago when an undercover operation went very wrong – something Mike chooses to keep from his Graceland teammates but does include in his report to Badillo (Pedro Pascal). He also has to deal with the more contentious relationship with Bello (Gbenga Akinnagbe) after the fiasco with the drug torpedo, and the nagging of both Paige (Serinda Swan) and Tuturro (Manny Montana) who try to convince Mike it’s time to break-up with Abby (Jenn Proske).

With the bust falling through, and the death of her CI (Christopher Redman), Charlie is called into give her official statement forcing Briggs to suggest an out-of-the-box solution to get her through the interview and save both of their careers by shooting her up with a small enough dose to let her pass for normal while giving her deposition to the FBI high on heroin.

After watching Eddie (Sheaun McKinney) blow his own brains out on Bello’s (Gbenga Akinnagbe) orders, Mike (Aaron Tveit) continues to work his way closer to California’s primary heroin supplier, both for Graceland and to test Badillo’s (Pedro Pascal) theory that Briggs (Daniel Sunjata) is taking a cut of heroin busts for himself for purposes unknown. Working his way into Bello’s trust by playing on the supplier’s love of cowboys and old western movies, Mike earns a new prestigious spot in the organization as the man’s bodyguard. Mike, much to Paige (Serinda Swan) and Tuturro (Manny Montana) amusement, also continues his burgeoning relationship with Abby (Jenn Proske) who now believes the undercover agent is a pilot thanks to Tuturro talking his friend up in the local bar.

Mike (Aaron Tveit) sits down with California’s primary heroin supplier, Nigerian drug lord Jeremiah Bello (Gbenga Akinnagbe), who wants Mike’s help to train his men to shoot like real soldiers. Stuck in a difficult situation, especially given Eddie’s (Sheaun McKinney) distrust of him, Mike is ordered by the FBI to “fake train” the drug dealers and killers all while trying to not draw suspicion from his new friend who has a habit of burning out people’s eyes when they disappoint him (just like he did with Eddie).
