XIII (Stuart Townsend) and Agent Jones (Aisha Tyler) head to Toronto on the heels of Giordino (Paulino Nunes) who has started to put the information in his burn box to use to track down a young prodigy (Christian Martyn) with ties to Rainer Gerhardt (Tom Berenger). After killing his parents (Steve Cumyn, Marion Day) Giordino kidnaps the boy from a private school while putting old friends onto the trail of XIII and Jones.

The search for the third and final watch (holding the last piece of the mysterious code) takes XIII (Stuart Townsend) and Agent Jones (Aisha Tyler) to Philadelphia where they barely survive a death trap set up by Max Serle (Matthew Bennett). Laying the groundwork for Sheridan’s (Ted Atherton) plan to remove Giordino (Paulino Nunes) from the board, XIII is contacted by Irina (Virginie Ledoyen) who wants the information in the second watch and is willing to trade the information of the person responsible for Sam’s (Caterina Murino) death, who, of course was Irina herself.

XIII (Stuart Townsend) and Jones (Aisha Tyler) head to Chicago seeking one of the two other surviving soldiers involved in the break-in at Renelco’s Costa Verda plant, hoping that the operative is still alive and in possession of his third of the mysterious code of Renelco’s secret weapon project. Unwilling to unleash XIII without some oversight into his activities President Carrington (Stephen McHattie) reinstates Agent Jones, gives her the necessary resources and security clearance, and authorizes their continued investigation.
