Comic Rack

Hmm, we’re about to talk about comics so it must be Wednesday!  Welcome to the RazorFine Comic Rack boys and girls.  Pull up a bean bag and take a seat at the master as we look at the new comics set to hit comic shops and bookstores today from DC, Marvel, Dark Horse, Wildstorm, Vertigo, Dynamite Entertainment, IDW Publishing, and Image Comics.

Moments of Serenity

With the a new “Special Edition” (i.e. give us more of your $$$!) of Serenity out today we look back with a series of clips and interviews from the cast of Joss Whedon’s short-lived television show and feature film.  Up first, here’s Mal ( Nathan Filliion) and Inara (Morena Baccarin) discussing the differences of shooting a film compared to an hour TV episode.  Larger version in the Full Diagnosis along with more interviews and clips from the ‘vese including a fanmade trailer for a Serenity sequel.

This Week in Independent Film

A young sportswriter (Josh Hartnett) in need of a big story comes in contact with a homeless man (Samuel L. Jackson) who was once of the top ranked boxers of the world.  Alan Alda, Kathryn Morris, Teri Hatcher, Rachel Nichols, and David Paymer also star.  Check out the official site.  The film opens everywhere on Friday.  Larger trailer available in the Full Diagnosis.

This Week in Film

Following the death of his partner a F.B.I. agent (Jason Stratham) seeks vengeance on the man responsible (Jet Li) who now is attmepting to start a war between the Chinese mob and the Yakuza.  Steph Song, Nadine Velazquez, Kane Kosugi, Andrea Roth, and Devon Aoki also star.  Check out the official site.  The film explodes into theaters everywhere on Friday.  Larger trailer available in the Full Diagnosis.
