Once and Future #7

Once and Future #7 comic reviewFollowing his victory over zombie King Arthur, Duncan‘s life didn’t exactly go back to normal. There are still mystical and unworldly threats in the world the once unsuspecting young man is uniquely qualified to deal with, and, with the help of Meg and his Gran, Duncan’s destiny continues to unfold.

Originally set to be a six-issue mini-series, Once and Future continues with a new adventure that provides some familiar faces (such as the return of Galahad who has been transformed by his king) and new threats (including a robbery at the British Museum whose end goal appears to have been to return Beowulf to the world).

The structure of the episode allows for a long lead-in with Jack putting together the pieces of what has occurred from survivors of the attacks and finally from the scientist himself who was tricked into believing that in helping Aku he would save his own village from destruction.
